Today our focus is on Genesis 32:24b “and a man wrestled with him until daybreak.” There is no question Jacob is in an extreme emotional state, terrified by what he thinks his brother is going to do to him and his family. Jacob has done everything he knows how to do including prayer. A man now approaches him in the night engaging Jacob in a wrestling match. The question on the table for today is, “Why a wrestling match.”
