Jacob has crossed over into what we are calling “the second half of life.” It was his capacity to recognize and acknowledge his limitation, in his case, fear, which allowed this passage. We have learned how limitations are actually opportunities for growth. We have also learned how release of control is the means by which this new growth opportunity is realized. Today we continue this discussion by examining Jacob’s next steps and through introducing a graphic model which illustrates Jacob’s experience at this phase in his life.
