It is clear that Jesus is leaving. Here, He expresses His desire to the Father that His disciples “will be with Me where I am.” He is referring to the post resurrection relationship. We have labelled this idea as “sharing the same space.” He desires this so they “may see His glory” which is based entirely on love.
