Today we complete our study of John’s Gospel chapter one. In the last phrase of verse 51 Jesus makes a statement about Himself which blends two Old Testament ideas, one being a reference to Jacob’s dream as recorded in Genesis 28 and the other as a direct reference to “Son of Man” from Daniel chapter 7. In this session we will explore His statement attempting to discern His meaning to the audience.
