Matters of the heart-The Observer Effect

Genesis 27:18-29

We have been looking at this subject of blessing attempting to gain a deeper understanding of what actually happens during the exchange. This exploration is prompted by the enigmatic story we find in Genesis 27, “the stolen blessing.” It was obvious to all participants within the story that once the blessing had been, in this case “nabbed” it could not be retracted. It is this puzzling outcome that has stimulated our journey to discover why? Let’s continue this morning with a very interesting topic relating it to our subject at hand.

Please note: During this talk I made a statement saying that creation was not affected by the fall as recorded in Genesis chapter 3. Well that is certainly not true. What I meant to say just did not come out quite right….. Oh well. Rather than attempting to make the correction here I will address it next week at the beginning of my talk.
